Controls Systems Engineer

is exclusively partnering a leading engineering & manufacturing group who specialise in innovative solutions & products to the EV and clean energy sectors. Due to the award of new programs, they have a number of new vacancies to join their expanding team and are currently recruiting for a three Senior Controls Systems Engineers

Location: Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull, Leamington Spa, Banbury.

Salary: Dependant on experience

The Role

Design system architectures.
Design and test control systems software using model-based approach.
Ensuring seamless integration of electrical systems.
Conduct safety assessments and implementing robust design processes.
Designing and deploying innovative test control systems and rigs.
Support prototype builds and work with customers.
Generate validation plans from system requirements.
Build, develop and maintain good relationships with customers.
Manage projects through from conception to through to completion and customer handover.
Generate reporting templates for communication of system models.


The Candidate 

Degree qualified or similar in engineering.
5 years plus experience as Controls Systems Engineer.
Experience in writing system and software specifications.
Self-motivated, creative and adaptive team player.
Willingness to take on roles, responsibilities and challenges required to achieve company goals and objectives.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
